Helen ended up on the east coast by way of the Midwest. Helen was raised in Michigan and moved to New York for law school. She is first generation American as her parents and family immigrated to America from Russia. In fact, she speaks Russian fluently. Helen moved to New Jersey once married. She is a wife and the mother to two young and extremely energetic boys, a foodie who loves living near one of the culinary capitals of world, an avid traveler, and is a reader of crime novels, autobiographies, and, of course, People Magazine.
Helen has always been passionate about helping women and men through divorce and has seen first hand through her hundreds of clients what a toll a divorce can take on every aspect of their lives, especially when it comes to her female clients. One such client cried in her office about how she was left in a home with no portraits or pictures as all of the portraits and pictures of her and her children or her and her ex-spouse now brought her such extreme negative emotions. During that meeting an idea was born for Sunset 2 Sunrise, a nonprofit organization that provides women with not only brand new empowering portraits and pictures, but a new image, a new sense of self, empowerment, community, education, resources and funding for counseling. So, here we go!
